Leggett & Platt Disaster Relief
In 2011, Leggett created the L&P Partners Helping Partners Fund to help support emergency needs of our employees and their immediate families. Such needs may include medical, transportation, housing, household furnishings, food and clothing resulting from catastrophic events or natural disasters affecting communities where L&P has operations.
Although donations to the Fund have typically been made in response to specific incidents (most notably, Hurricane Sandy), the Fund is ongoing with a continuing balance in the account to be used for any future disasters that directly impact our fellow employees.
How to give financially
Below are the options to donate funds to provide relief through the Partners Helping Partners Fund. All donations are tax deductible to the fullest extent allowed by the IRS.
- Send a check payable to "Leggett & Platt Partners Helping Partners Fund" to Community Foundation of the Ozarks, P.O. Box 8960, Springfield, MO, 65801.
- Online donations can be made at http://www.cfozarks.org/donate with specific designation for the "L&P Partners Helping Partners Fund" in the Fund/Program box.
- Leggett employees can contribute by printing the payroll deduction form found here. E-mail your completed form to Vicki.firstname.lastname@example.org.
